This device conforms to the soil liquid limit testing method with Fall
cone established in 2000 (JGS 0142-2000). *JGS: The Japanese Geotechnical
Society
The measuring way of ＪＩＳ A 1205 was pointed out many problems,
for example, personal errors in test results because the way needed skills
in the operation, Therefore, Fall cone testing method was standardized.
This testing method, that is, investigation of the liquid limit with
taking relation between penetration value with free fallingof cone
and water content of soil, are adoppted by many reserach centers&
institutions becausethis simple operation makes no personal error in test
results.
